Gary D. Discavage, J.D.
Senior Trust Administrative Officer

Gary D. Discavage, J. D. is a Senior Trust Administrative Officer and the company's Compliance Officer. As a Senior Trust Administrative Officer he is responsible for administrative matters related to trust, IRA and investment management accounts. In addition, he is the company’s dedicated Compliance Officer for all matters.

Mr. Discavage is an attorney and has been a member of the Pennsylvania bar since 1975. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and pre-law from the Pennsylvania State University and his Juris Doctor degree from Temple Law School. Also, he is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers' Trust School. Presently, he is a member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council and the Corporate Fiduciaries Association of Philadelphia.

Mr. Discavage has more than 30 years of experience in trust work. In 1974 he started his career at Girard Trust Bank, where he settled estates and administered trusts. Later, he managed a unit which reviewed the estate planning documents of existing customers. Eventually, he assumed the full-time roll of an estate planner.

In 1989 Mr. Discavage left Girard/Mellon to practice fiduciary law and restore historic properties in Central Pennsylvania. During this period he was active in his community, serving as president of both the Blair County Historical Society and the Altoona Community Theater.
